I’m teaching beginner #burlesque classes with Freed Dance every Monday between 5:30–6:30 pm at Dance & Arts Studio on Gadigal Land!
I have 19 collective years of dance experience, but I like to say that I’ve been dancing since I came out of the womb as my surname means ‘dance’ in Việt haha I have professional experience and training in a number of theatrical, commercial, experimental, classical, eclectic, and street dance styles including burlesque, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, tap, ballet, and vogue. I began training in burlesque at age 16 and has since had the privilege of training under renowned national burlesque artist Evana de Lune and the top burlesque school in the country, Maison Burlesque. I am well-trained in classic, fetish, and neo burlesque, and I look forward to passing the technique, knowledge, and history from my mentors to those of you who are interested in burlesque!
